Virtual Dresden in Google Earth

A notable 150,000 buildings have been added to Google Earth in the shape of Dresden in Germany. While not part of the default Google 3D Buildings layer it is available for download as a networked KMZ file.

Of note is the ‘LandXplorer’ logo in the bottom left of the overlay interface – our Virtual London model is now held within LandXplorer and we will be providing a full write up and review of the application in the next few weeks.

The model was released yesterday but due to heavy server load it has taken until today to view the model – thus the slight lag in our post compared with say the report on The Google Earth Blog.
