					<description><![CDATA[the isync plugin is NOT required.  its not a part of this process at all.  for those who have used palm pilots in the past, isync plugins are analogous to palm&#039;s &#039;Conduits&#039; -- that is, they act like translators between a local app and one on your device.  in this case, the isync plugin acts as a translator between the mac&#039;s iCal/AddressBook and the phone&#039;s Calendar/ContactList.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;nothing wrong with installing it, but readers of this post should know that they dont have to install it to get the functionality you describe.]]></description>
