I am starting a GIS masters in September at the University of Alberta, and was inspired by Dr. Batty when he lectured here last fall. I am going to try to focus my project in the area of modeling urban spaces with the hope that I will be able to build a 3-D model of Edmonton’s downtown. The dream is to import this model into Google Earth to allow members of the public access to the Urban Planning process. I have found this blog to be very helpful in understanding the process of digital geography and web 2.0. Thanks so much!
