I'm looking forward to it too! I'm taking my 3M mini projector and Ipod touch and mini DV cam to India on a three week environmental/musical goodwill ambassador tour with Solar Punch and the India Youth Climate Network this tuesday and then to the slums of Cairo Egypt at the end of February. What our group in Solar CITIES (http://solarcities.blogspot.com) is uses the urban fabric of different countries to transfer knowledge and technology. We will video tape the construction of urban domestic rooftop biogas generators (that use city garbage to produce cooking and heating fuel at the household level) and then use the microprojector to play it on the walls in the shantytowns in Cairo to show crowds of stakeholders how to replicate the technology in their own homes. It is a combination of Augusto Boal's street theater education and urban sustainable development work made possible by these great gadgets. Happy to see that you at digital urban (our favorite website, from whom we learned how to use Blender and Elder Scrolls Construction Set to create 3D Cairo landscapes with solar heaters on it!) are into this too! Cheers and keep up the great writing!
