I think its very neat to have it on the iPhone though, esp in the context of the project.

We had urbanisation maps (from the Hackney Building Exploratory) going back to Roman times. This was back in 2000/01. Not wanting to bang my own drum but this is nothing new. In fact it’s just some nice web mapping services.
