The image above is the Washington National Cathedral  &#8211; <a href="http://digitalurban.blogspot.com/search/label/Crysis">direct from the 3D Warehouse</a>.</p>
<p>It gets around the multiple texture limitation and seems to be working so far &#8211; we are currently working on importing the Church from our <a href="http://digitalurban.blogspot.com/2008/02/3d-churches-modelling-architecture.html">Churches: Modelling Architecture</a> post.</p>
<p>We are not sure of the legal implications of taking models made for Google Earth and using them in Crysis but the potential for entire city models is intriguing&#8230;</p>

The warehouse is a repository of over 200,000 models and a unique archive of buildings and street furniture from around the world.</p>
<p>Its taken some time but we now have a path for importing any model from the 3D Warehouse into Crysis, the movie below details the Tate Modern:</p>

<p>We are not sure what the license implications are, but as soon as we know and as soon as the latest exporter is out from EA (soon) we will have a tutorial and work flow online.</p>
