While not on the same scale a new trend is emerging using mini projectors to display images while on the move around the urban scene &#8211; after all the city is a canvas there to be used.</p>
<p>The movie below was produced by a <span>employee</span> of <span>Microvision</span> who &#8216;borrows&#8217; the companies up and coming <span>pico</span> projector to post on his excellent blog &#8216;<a href="http://picounderground.com/">the <span>pico</span> underground</a>&#8216;.</p>
<p><center><object height="295" width="480"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ri-likHiodg&#038;hl=en&#038;fs=1"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ri-likHiodg&#038;hl=en&#038;fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" height="295" width="480"></embed></object></center></p>
<p>We like this a lot but if you have ever got annoyed with people playing their music on the bus via phones with built in speakers, within the next 18 months phones will have built in projectors and music on the bus will be upgraded to movies on the streets.</p>
<p>To be honest we are quite looking forward to it, it could certainly liven up the cityscape at night&#8230;</p>

<p>The 2009 showcase below by the 3D video projection mapping company <a href="http://www.easyweb.fr/indexenglish.html">EasyWeb</a> is extremely impressive:</p>
<p><center><object width="485" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/3FQv_eAxp3c&#038;hl=en&#038;fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/3FQv_eAxp3c&#038;hl=en&#038;fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="485" height="344"></embed></object></center></p>
<p>We will have more examples, this time with a more portable projector, in future posts..</p>
<p>Take a look at <a href="http://www.easyweb.fr/indexenglish.html">EasyWeb</a> for more details and movies.</p>
