Perhaps its the over use of shiny logos, the slightly cheesy voice overs or the visualisations that make all new builds look like some Utopian vision of the future, we are not sure.

The development at Bayswater, LapuLapu City,in the Philippines is a case in point. The P1.5 billion investment aims to replete with a business center that will have an internet café, bakery and pastries shop, laundry shop and convenience store:

So will living at Bayswater make your dreams come true? Perhaps not, but then again its the houses do look lovely and are probably a damn sight better than the place we have to go back to in London town…

See http://www.bayswater.ph/ for more info and if you buy one send us a postcard.

A couple of days ago we put up a post on Caseyville Forest Lake – Digital Real Estate Marketing it turns out the movie was created by Alpha Vision. The company was founded in 1993 with the vision to realise the market potential for three dimensional computer graphics solutions. With over 100 staff and based in Miami their output is notable for its quality and presentation.

Embedded below is their Trend Homes Marque marketing movie:

While aimed at the high end of the market in terms of real estate purchase the animations differ considerably to what would be seen in the more ‘urban’ type UK presentation from the likes of Squint/Opera or Design Hive.

A number of Alpha Vision’s movies are ’embedding disabled’ so it is well worth looking direct at their YouTube channel.

See Alpha Vision’s website for more details.
