The image above represents a hyperbolic view of the Guardian Angel Cathedral located just north of the Encore Casino in Las Vegas. A full size version rotated 90 degrees can be viewed via Flickr.
To look around click ‘Load’ below and the click and drag to navigate the scene, select ‘Open’ to view full screen.

I have a question: which software or plugin do you use for making the hyperbolic version ?
I use the Flexify 2 plugin which works great except the center is quite deformed, so I have to modify by hand afterwards.
Yep i used Flexify as well with the hyperbolic settings – the centre should be ok (?) Feel free to send me a sample and i can take a look…

Maybe I’m using the wrong settings for Flexify, I use “Latitude -90, Longitude -180, Input Equirectangular, Output Stereographic”.
Which gives for example this:

From this source panorama:

It’s all fine except for the very center of the image.
(sorry for repost, I forgot Blogspot hates links in comments).

The settings are fine – for a centre to work you need a full 360×180 panorama – your example clips off the bottom view a little, thus the lines in the flexify image.
Hope that helps,
Andy
I thought that I was missing something indeed, thanks.
